Boavista Golf was designed by Howard Swan, the former President of the European Golf Courses Architects designed a striking and impressive field of 18 hole and par 71, with a view of the beautiful city of Lagos, surrounded by the Atlantic Coast and the Serra de Monchique.

In this course designed Frank Pennick, consists of 5 of the 18 holes are in the dunes along the long sandy Meia Praia, while the remaining 13 holes are located in the rolling hills. The hole five pair # 5 is 550 meters unquestionably one of the most popular links at European level. Much of the other holes have a panoramic view of the bay of Lagos and the distant mountains of Monchique. This course is par 71, which includes eleven par 4, par three 5:04 par 3.
