Life Science Center – presents national and international exhibitions in the branch of science, appealing to diverse cultural offer of this locality, focused both adults and children, this stands out the exhibits with interactive games with the audience to perform congress and symposiums. This is open Monday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00.

Fort St John the Baptist – a replica of the fort before 1730, protecting this town from attacks and theft of pirates. In 1998, the Municipality of Port Moniz bought the ruins of this fort and recovered it, preserving the old outer walls and reusing the existing stone, to maintain its original form. Currently houses the Madeira Aquarium.

Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation – this was built by the population in 1699, after a flood in 1558, which destroyed the original chapel. The traces of this church follows the original.

Church of St. Anthony – in Seixal, it was created in 1553 to honor their patron St. Anthony, which every year on 17 January is celebrated a typical Madeiran camp.

Church of Porto Moniz Matrix – built at the end of the seventeenth century by order of Francisco Moniz, with a simple architecture, which highlights the main altar in gilt, the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament and of silk vestments, lamps, candlesticks among others, this stands in honor of Our Lady of Conception, patron saint of the parish.

Church of Mary Magdalene – the site of the Holy of Porto Moniz, this is considered as one of the oldest temples northern line of the island of Madeira. Over time, this had restoration work. One of the main attractions of this church was the oil painting featuring the patron, which irretrievably lost due to lack of conservation. In July, a festival is held in honor of its patron saint.
